Nicole and Michael met in March of 2016. Three years later, they welcomed their beautiful baby girl. A few months after, the couple tied the knot and incorporated their little daughter into their big day. Remembering their wedding, the couple writes, “Our day would not have been the same without her. She made it so much more special and full of a new kind of love for us. We were so happy to celebrate our love with all of our family and close friends. Our visions came to life so beautifully with the help of our vendors and wedding party. We may have done things the untraditional way, but we couldn’t have asked for a better day.”
The couple chose Hayloft on the Arch, a rustic barn venue, for their prep and festivities. In the bridal suite, the bride, her baby and bridesmaids buttoned dresses, curled hair, and added final touches to their wedding day outfits. In the barn, the groom and groomsmen tied dress shoes, slipped on jackets and finished their ceremony prep.
Nicole recalls their first look and notes how special it was. Holding their daughter, she walked up the hill towards her groom. She remembers, “Michael turned around to see my daughter and I waiting for him. Our daughter had a little mini bride dress on that he had not seen before our wedding day. It was such an emotional moment.”
When asked what advice she share with future brides, Nicole says, “Definitely make time to have a private moment with your new spouse on your wedding day! Whether it’s a first look with just you two, or a private dance during the night. Your wedding day goes by so fast, and it was amazing to share a quiet moment with my new husband!”
Beyond the barn, guests gathered for the outdoor ceremony. Michael and his groomsmen stood by the floral-decorated arch, waiting for his bride. Smiling, Nicole walked down the aisle towards Michael while holding their daughter. The couple stood by the arch and read hand-written vows to one another.
After the ceremony, the bridal party and their guests enjoyed dinner, dessert and dancing in the barn. Nicole recalls a special moment at the end of the night, right before her and Michael’s exit. She says, “We cleared out the venue and had a private dance just the two of us. It was an intimate way for us to have just a few minutes of alone time, dancing close on our wedding day.”
Wishing Nicole and Michael all the best. Congrats!
